About Me

I have been coaching, training, and mentoring individuals and businesses since 2008, and I’ve been working specifically with adults with ADHD since 2017.

I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2017, at the age of 44, following a suicidal crisis. That experience motivated me to become an advocate for reducing stigma and broadening understanding of ADHD. I founded ADHD Action to help achieve that goal.

Building on my years of experience as a business and mindset coach, mentor, and trainer, I now dedicate my work to supporting others with ADHD.

I’m ILM certified, a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, and certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) through the International Association of Therapists.

I also spearheaded the All-Party Parliamentary Group for ADHD and am proud to have been commended in Hansard, the official parliamentary record, for my advocacy and lobbying work.

As a frequent media spokesperson on ADHD, I’ve appeared on BBC Victoria Derbyshire, BBC Radio 4, Radio 5 Live, LBC, The Times, The Mirror, Women’s Health, SEN Magazine, Additude Magazine, and The Guardian.

In addition to working with individuals and businesses, I also train and coach charities, psychiatrists, GPs, teachers, and social workers on ADHD.

I’m a co-founder of The ADHD Collective, a unique community and learning platform for adults with ADHD.

In 2020, I co-authored the UK scientific consensus paper on females with ADHD, which was published in BMC Psychiatry.

Client

Michelle has changed my life. I was really lost whilst on the waiting list for diagnosis. She helped me not just to understand and accept myself, but put in place effective ways of battling my procrastination, clutter, and emotional outbursts and meltdowns. Once I finally got diagnosed officially, she expertly guided me through learning about my meds. Not to mention the grief process that I didn’t expect after ‘confirmation’ I had ADHD.
